Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with FaidaAI. Here is everything you need to know about our refund and cancellation process.

1. Free Trial

All new FaidaAI accounts begin with a 7-day free trial — no credit card required. During the trial period, you have full access to your chosen plan's features at no cost. If you decide FaidaAI is not right for you, simply do not add a payment method and your account will automatically downgrade at the end of the trial. No charge, no questions asked.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your FaidaAI subscription at any time from your Billing Settings dashboard.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full access to all features until that date
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • Your data is retained for 90 days after the account closes, during which you may request a data export

3. Refunds

General Policy: Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started, as you retain full access to the service throughout that period.

Exceptions — We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Service Outage: If FaidaAI experiences a verified platform-wide outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours in a billing period, affected customers are eligible for a prorated credit equivalent to the downtime.
  • Accidental Duplicate Charge: If you were charged twice for the same billing period due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full within 5 business days.
  • Charge After Cancellation: If you were charged after correctly cancelling your subscription, we will refund the erroneous charge in full.
  • New Customer Guarantee: If you subscribed to a paid plan (not a trial) and find that FaidaAI does not meet your needs within the first 7 days of your first paid period, contact us and we will issue a full refund at our discretion.

4. Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade your plan mid-cycle, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. No prorated refund is issued for the remaining days of the current period — you retain access to your higher-tier features until the cycle ends.

5. Annual Plans

If we offer annual subscription plans in the future, customers who cancel within 30 days of annual payment will be eligible for a refund of unused whole months. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but remain active until expiry.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and credited back to your original payment method. Mpesa refunds may take up to 3 additional business days depending on your provider.

7. Disputes

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at billing@faidaai.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email with at least 14 days' notice before taking effect.
